MD-6™ - Metabolic Drive Formula

Written By Tim Patterson, Biotest Laboratories

Biotest has created a monster of a supplement with MD6 - a major, bodybuilding G-spot with this new product.

I think what's happening is that everybody's ready for something new in fat loss. Yes, I know there are some recent innovations, but no one's really pushed the lipolytic envelope much further than the basic ephedrine-caffeine stack.

Currently, we have the ability to do things with supplements that were only possible with prescription drugs just a few years ago. And in the case of fat loss, the options have grown to the point that almost everyone can be successful in attaining their fat-loss goals. Got a problem with insulin sensitivity? There's an answer. Worried about thyroid shutdown? Taken care of. Want to boost metabolism without most of the traditional jitters? You got it. Tired of being hungry all the time? No proproblem. Oh, what about mood? You want that managed, too? Check

To arrive at our formula, we had to research the current literature to find which compounds work best for our objectives. Next, we had to optimize the formula by adjusting the ratios between the ingredients to achieve the maximum effect. And lastly, we had to locate all of the correct materials in the purest and most-potent form. We wanted real "clean" compounds, not some junk that allowed us to hit our label claims. And without further ado...

Each 2-Capsule Serving Provides:

To reiterate our objectives, we designed MD6 to attack fat loss from several different angles. And this multi-factorial approach creates a synergy that supercharges the body's fat-loss abilities. Read through the following descriptions of each of the ingredients contained in MD6 and their actions, and see if you think it makes sense:

Optimized thyroid function— It's simple. Go on a diet, and you'll invariably shut down the thyroid's most powerful hormone, T3. And as your thyroid shuts down, you're forced to eat fewer and fewer calories until you're losing muscle as well as fat. This downward spiral is inevitable, unless you provide the thyroid with certain hormonal building blocks that support the formation of T3.

The amino acid l-tyrosine is a precursor to the all-important T3 hormone and a precursor to the stimulatory neurotransmitters epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine. These are powerful, "feel-good" chemicals that ramp up the body and brain for action. Neurotransmitter stimulation is essential in maintaining optimal thyroid output while trying to lose fat.

To further support thyroid function, we've included Guggul extract—in particular, guggulsterone Z. Research shows that guggulsterone Z increases the thyroid's uptake of iodine and stimulates the production of various thyroid hormones. Guggul has a couple of other interesting actions, too. Studies show that guggul lowers blood lipids, which further facilitate thyroid function (and it even combats acne on par with tetracycline!).

So, you can boost thyroid function, get ripped, get healthy, and clear up those nagging zits all at once.

Increased insulin sensitivity and management—Trying to lose fat and being "insulin-resistant" is like swimming upstream with a 300-pound barbell on your shoulders—it ain't gonna' happen. And over time, our bodies become more and more resistant to the effects of insulin, which makes fat loss increasingly difficult. It's like you want receptor sensitivity to be as tender as a baby's behind, but what you wind up with is something tantamount to an 80-year-old sun-worshiper's tanned hide. In other words, it takes more insulin to get the receptors to work. And you can't get ripped if you can't control insulin—you just get fat.

To the rescue is alpha lipoic acid (ALA). ALA is very effective at increasing both insulin sensitivity and glucose utilization, making it a powerful fat-fighting agent. And being able to clear glucose efficiently also makes ALA the ketogenic dieter's dream-come-true compound. Another good thing about ALA is that it's a strong antioxidant. And with all of the oxidative stress we undergo from stimulating our bodies to burn fat, we need major free-radical control. Well, ALA's our man for this job, too.

Maximized metabolic thermogenesis— Stimulants, of course, are at the top of the list for metabolic manipulation. And just about everyone who's dieted seriously has tried some form of an ephedrine-caffeine stack. In our formula, we chose to use the most potent combination of stimulants that are legally available. L-norephedrine is next to pure amphetamine in potency, but it doesn't produce an elevated heart rate and blood pressure like the other ephedrine derivatives do (it's much, much safer, too). Plus, it has a relatively longer half-life (stays in the system onger), and it's the king of appetite suppression. L-norephedrine will also elevate mood to a certain extent, too.

Yohimbine, the active ingredient in yohimbe bark, was added to target those pesky alpha-2 adrenoceptors. These are the fat-storing control centers that are located predominately in the lower body. Alpha-2 adrenoceptors are responsible for keeping those saddlebags on the thighs of women and love handles on men engorged with fat. It seems like no matter how much dieting is done, these areas never go away. Yohimbine effectively shuts off the alpha-2, fat-storage switches, and theoretically aids in losing fat in those stubborn areas.

And rounding out our thermogenic section is caffeine. Caffeine, of course, was added because it potentiates the effects of the other alkaloid stimulants.

Well, what do ya' think? Did we do our job? Is MD6 the absolute, best fat-burner on the market? I think so. And I guarantee it!
