So now when we have been properly introduced and all, you probably think something like: Why should I care? And why is everything grey?

Oh well, I do not have any real good answer to that first question. Why don´t you just check out these pages for your self and then maybe you get the answer on that one.. And to answer the other one, well greyscale-images loads much faster, and I mean, let´s face it, internet is slow... often real slow. And besides, greyscale can be good looking to!
