About my films:
I´ve been
into film and video for as long as I can remember. Dating back even
to my days as a kid in New Jersey, USA. I was absolutely fanatical
about Star Wars and knew what blue screen matting was at the age
of seven. I am a devout believer in the idea that a film doesn´t
always need a deep intellectual story. A film made for pure superficial
entertainment value is just as valid as an Ingmar Bergman angst
fest.
Red
Mug of Coffee was my first brush with a Silicon Graphics
workstation. It is a quirky seven minute short blending live action
with traditional animation.
Small Town Dead was going to
be good vampire film in Swedish but story wise fell flat due to
some less than inspired actresses. It was an extremely ambitious
project that ended up as a great looking rock´n´roll
musical with lots of home-grown special effects.
Lars & Brölar came
about because of my desire to give prosthetic makeup a go. I would
descrive it as a cross between "Conan" and "Monty
Pythons´S.F. t. Holy Grail".
Dead Fish is my first attempt
at actual celluloid. A very strange tale of three lost morons. It
is currently being edited.
