I have adored Winnie the Pooh and his nutty friends ever since childhood.
I´ve read the book by A.A Milne a thousand times and it always ends so sad!
And then when Disney started making these 30 minutes episodes about Pooh
I thought that I was in heaven! He´s so adorably stupid and yet so wise.
His simple life is filled with joy every day as long as he gets his hunny
and to see his friends, especially Christopher Robin.
The little Piglet is a very small animal who´s afraid of almost everything
that moves. His best friend in the whole wide world is Pooh and there´s
nothing that he wouldn´t do for him. Piglet lives in a tree that he has inherited
from his family. He´s so cute when he´s running around studdering with fear. But
you have nothing to fear on my turf Piglet so relax and sit back!
Tigger came to the forest in the middle of the night and nobody knows from where.
He´s obsessed with jumping around and bouncing into things, especially
Piglet. Tigger and baby Roo spend a lot of time together jumping through
the forest. Tigger thinks that he´s extremely good looking and he doesn´t mind
telling his friends about that. Tigger has ruined Rabbit´s garden plenty
of times...
Eeyore has always got the blues. He speaks slowly and he sound utterly
bored whenever he opens his mouth. I can´t help but love him anyway
beacuse he´s such a sad character that he actually becomes funny that way!
Eeyore lives in a shed that he´s built by himself. Tigger has knocked it
over a few times. Eeyore doesn´t mind, he´s just glad that someone took
notice of him...
Rabbit is a perfectionist when it comes to gardening. Tigger does his best
to keep him forever busy. Rabbit likes to keep things in order and he likes
to think that after Christopher Robin he´s in charge. The others are not so
interested in order so they let Rabbit have his way. I think that Rabbit is
cute and he always falls into his own traps. It´s fun to see him poking
around in his garden and then suddenly he´s under attack from Tigger. He
gets so angry and I love that!
The wise man of the forest is Owl. He loves to tell old anekdotes and he
can talk for hours. He doesn´t really care if anyone´s listening or not, he talks
anyway. Owl likes to think that he is smart and that he can read. None of that is
true but no one else notices beacuase they can´t read either!

Kanga is the only female character. She lives in the forest together with her
baby, Roo. Roo and Tigger are great friends since they have one thing in
common; they love to jump around. Kanga is very calm and sensible. She worries
a lot about her child, like every mother does but she is also very patient
with Roo. I used to play Kanga in our plays and I enjoyed it a lot!
Christopher Robin is the leader of this group. He´s the only one who can leave the
forest. He created it when he needed a place to play with his friends. It´s his
magic forest. Christopher Robin comes to visit his best friend, Pooh and they
talk about life and things that they can´t share with anyone else. They´re
the best of friends although they don´t see each other as much since Christopher
went to school. I like Christopher Robin because he´s the one who calms
things down and sets things right. Kind of like a father to his kids...
