1963, born and works in Helsingborg, Sweden. [translated] Jonas Aldgård creates his paintings as statements of flat faces with various pattern. In that consideration he is carrying on Gustav Klimt's and Paul Klee's methodical independent creation of paintings. In this way Aldgård can openly improvise with statement of lyrical experience in contrasts. The represent characters, which can be called objective anticendent experiences, divides in free associations. This has by art experts, who gladly use new proverb, been called discontinuous reality. Aldgård is bringing together different metaphors which you generally don't see at the same time in everyday life. He also describes animals no one has seen before. His lyrical pictures emits happiness and delight. Teddy Brunius, Fil Dr. Professor Emeritus |
